Emergency Exit Light – Wall Mount

Wall Mount Emergency Exit Light

The wall mount exit light suits doorways and corridor ends. Choose it where ceiling access is awkward or the slab sits out of reach. Three UV rated decals ship in the box. You get the standard running man plus left and right arrow versions. One unit covers three directional outcomes, so specifiers can order a single line item across a floor.Design and manufacture follow AS/NZS 2293.3, the product standard for emergency luminaires and exit signs. The fitting runs maintained, meaning the lamp stays lit on mains supply and switches to battery when power fails.

What the numbers mean on site

A 24 metre viewing distance sets the spacing. Measure the longest approach a person makes to that door. Anything beyond the viewing distance needs a second sign or a larger pictogram. Three hours of emergency runtime is the design duration your certifier will check against. The housing uses plastic particles through the body rather than surface pigment. The fitting holds its white finish instead of yellowing under UV. The material is fire resistant.

Testing and records

Installing the fitting is the easy half. Exit and emergency lighting carries a six-monthly and annual test regime. Records matter as much as hardware when a certifier arrives. Our guide to passing an emergency exit light audit sets out what gets checked and what usually fails. We supply, install and service exit and emergency lighting on scheduled programmes across Australia.
