Emergency Exit Light – Universal Mount – Black

Universal Mount Emergency Exit Light - Black

This universal mount exit light fits ceiling or wall on one quick fit bracket. A single stock line then covers both conditions across a building. The black body suits a modern fitout. The housing measures 350 mm long, 73 mm wide and 208 mm high, the slimmest profile in the range.

One bracket, two mounting conditions

Order a separate ceiling variant and wall variant for the same job and you create two part numbers and two lead times. The delivery then never quite matches the drawing.A universal bracket removes that. The installer sets orientation at the fitting, not at the purchase order. On a multi-level fitout where ceiling conditions change floor by floor, that saves real time.

Compliance figures to check against your plan

• 24 metre viewing distance, printed on the face
• 3 hour runtime in emergency mode, against a 90 minute minimum under AS/NZS 2293
• Mounting band of 2.0 to 2.7 metres above floor level
• IP20, so indoor use only

Measure the longest approach to each exit before committing to quantities. A 24 metre sign at the end of a longer corridor is a common audit finding. It is expensive to fix after handover.

Supplied and specified

Three UV rated decals come in the box: standard running man, running man with left arrow, and running man with right arrow. Direction gets set on site. The LED source runs to 50,000 hours. The battery is lithium. This is a maintained fitting. It runs on the normal lighting circuit, and the emergency module takes over when mains power drops.AS/NZS 2293.2 calls for a monthly visual inspection and a six-monthly 90 minute discharge test, recorded in the logbook and retained. SafeWork NSW puts that duty on the PCBU. The exit and emergency lighting range covers recessed and weatherproof options for the same building.
