Twin-Spot Emergency Light

The twin spot emergency light throws light where an exit sign cannot. Stairs, plant rooms, loading docks and external walkways all go black when the mains drop. Two adjustable lamps aim independently, so one fitting can cover a stair flight and a landing.An IP65 rating means the enclosure is dust tight and withstands low pressure water jets from any direction. Take the rating for what it is. IP65 describes ingress protection, not corrosion resistance. Coastal and chemically aggressive sites still need a material assessment before you specify.

Non-maintained operation

The fitting stays dark while mains power is healthy and illuminates only on failure. Non-maintained suits spaces that already have adequate normal lighting and need coverage only during an outage. Maintained fittings stay lit at all times and belong in different positions. The designer makes that call against AS/NZS 2293.1 for the installation.Design and manufacture follow AS/NZS 2293.3.
