Emergency Downlight – Surface Mount – Black

Surface Mount Emergency Downlight - Black

This surface mount emergency downlight requires hardwiring rather than a flex and plug connection. Use it where the ceiling has no existing socket. The ceiling recessed Black Spitfire relies on that socket instead. The black body matches a dark ceiling or fitout colour scheme without changing the fitting's function. Ceiling mount only.A lithium battery holds the fitting in emergency mode for 2 hours after mains failure. Rated LED life is 50,000 hours. The body carries a D40 photometric classification under AS/NZS 2293, used to calculate fitting spacing. The IP20 rating and fire resistant material suit dry indoor spaces. Design and manufacture follow AS/NZS 2293.3.Warranty runs 3 years. An electrician is required for the hardwired connection, so budget for that on the install schedule.
