Standard Single Fire Extinguisher Cabinet – Red

The standard fire extinguisher cabinet houses one 9kg extinguisher in single-wall polyethylene, a lighter build than our double-wall ABS cabinets. That construction suits budget-driven projects. The cabinet protects the extinguisher from dust and weather, without the heavy impact resistance of a double-wall build.Two clear inspection windows show the extinguisher without opening the door. Double locking latches keep the cabinet secure. The door also works alongside a Cygnus tamper switch for sites running an alarm system.

Standard build, same placement rules

Cabinet grade does not change the mounting rules. Fire and Rescue NSW still requires a conspicuous position, a minimum 1000mm clearance, and a location sign at 2000mm above floor level.
