Fire Hose Reel Replacement Nozzle

Fire Hose Reel Replacement Nozzle

The CPFHR-N is a solid brass replacement nozzle for a 19mm fire hose. Turning the head moves the flow between shut off, jet and spray, so the operator controls both the pattern and the volume at the hose end.Replace the nozzle when the thread seizes, the seal weeps, or the head no longer moves cleanly between settings. A nozzle that will not shut off is a nozzle that floods the area after the fire is out.

What the annual service checks

Under AS 1851, the nozzle is checked at every six-monthly service and again at the annual flow test. Blocked or seized nozzles are one of the most common defects recorded. Replacing the nozzle is a small part cost against a defect notice on a fire safety statement. If the hose is also worn, order the replacement hose with nozzle instead.
