Commander Fire Hose Reel Replacement Hose

Commander™ Fire Hose Reel Replacement Hose

The CPFHR-H is a 36 metre replacement hose for a 19mm fire hose reel, supplied with the adjustable brass nozzle. It fits all 19mm fire hose reels, not only Commander units.Replace the hose when it splits, kinks permanently, weeps at the nozzle, or fails the annual flow test under AS 1851. In most cases the drum, valve and bracket are still serviceable, so replacing the hose costs a fraction of replacing the reel.

When the hose is the problem

Hose damage usually comes from three sources: the reel being used for wash-down, the hose being dragged across a sharp wall return, or UV exposure on an unprotected outdoor reel. Fix the cause at the same time as the hose, or the replacement fails the same way.A fire hose reel cover addresses UV and weather. A swinging reel addresses the sharp return. People need training to stop using fire hose reels for wash-down.If the nozzle alone is at fault, order the replacement nozzle.Replacing hose across a portfolio?
