Emergency Exit Light – Universal Surface Mount – Blade – Black

Universal Mount Emergency Exit Light - Blade - Black

The Emergency Exit Light Blade Black is a surface-mount exit light for fitouts where a standard white fitting stands out for the wrong reasons. The black blade body sits flush against dark ceilings and feature joinery. The fitting reads as a design element rather than an add-on.

Fits fitouts, not just codes

A universal quick-fit bracket suits ceiling or wall mounting. At L350mm x W73mm x H220mm, the blade profile is slim enough to run along a corridor or foyer without dominating the sightline. Fitouts in hospitality, offices and multi-residential lobbies use this finish where compliance signage still needs to look considered.

Three decals, one fitting

The light ships with three UV-rated running man decals: standard, left arrow and right arrow. One SKU covers a straight corridor, a left turn and a right turn. A fit-out with several exit paths does not need to special-order variants.

Built to the luminaire standard

We design and manufacture this fitting to AS/NZS 2293.3, which sets construction and performance requirements for exit signs. Its 24m viewing distance rating matches the sign to a standard corridor length. Longer runs need a 40m-rated sign instead, so check your egress path length before specifying. The fitting delivers 3 hours of emergency runtime, well over the 90-minute minimum AS/NZS 2293.1 requires.

Indoor use only

The IP20 rating means this fitting suits dry, indoor locations. It is not sealed against dust or moisture. That rules out plant rooms, carparks and covered outdoor walkways. Our weatherproof battens cover those wet and exposed areas instead.

Fitting classification

This fitting operates as a maintained exit light, running continuously as part of the normal lighting circuit with the emergency module taking over on mains failure.
