Emergency Exit Light – Universal Surface Mount – Blade

Emergency Exit Light Blade - Universal Mount

This emergency exit light blade uses a slim profile for a clean look against a bare fitting. A quick fit universal mount bracket handles ceiling or wall installation without a special tool.Three UV rated decals ship with the fitting: standard running man, running man with a left arrow, and running man with a right arrow. Fit the decal matching the actual exit path at that point. AS/NZS 2293.1 requires a directional arrow at corridor junctions and stairwell entries. It also requires one at any point where the path to the nearest exit is not obvious.Design and manufacture follow AS/NZS 2293.3. The fitting is visible from 24 metres. A designer uses that figure to set fitting spacing across a corridor or an open floor. The spacing tables sit in AS/NZS 2293.1.A lithium battery holds the fitting in emergency mode for 3 hours after mains failure. Rated LED life is 50,000 hours. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor positions.AS/NZS 2293.2 sets the routine service and maintenance regime that applies once you install this fitting. Periodic testing under that standard keeps the fitting ready for an actual mains failure, not just for a passed inspection. The fitting measures approximately 350mm long, 73mm wide and 220mm high. Warranty runs 3 years. Choose this emergency exit light blade for corridors and open areas that need a slim ceiling or wall fitting rather than a projecting box sign.Compare wattages and mounting types across the full exit and emergency lighting range.
