Battery Charger

Eight ports, compatible with Orisent 3.7V lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. A full charge takes under 12 hours. Those batteries run your wireless triggers and combined trigger and siren units. Eight ports means a rotating pool: half on charge, half in service, and a flat device gets swapped the same day rather than left off the wall.

Why the charger matters

Battery-powered devices are the ones that let you put an alert point where the power isn't. That flexibility is the whole argument for them, and it depends entirely on having charged cells available.Without a spares pool, a flat battery means a device comes off the wall and stays off until someone remembers. With one, it's a two-minute swap during a site walk. The under-12-hour charge time means a batch put on overnight is ready for the morning.

Charging lithium-ion batteries on site

Charge in a designated area, not in a store room full of packaging. Lithium-ion cells on charge are a known ignition risk, and a charging bank running unattended overnight deserves the same treatment you'd give any other hot works risk.Pair the charging position with a smoke detector on the same system, and keep appropriate extinguishing equipment within reach. For larger charging operations, a lithium-ion battery charging and storage cabinet contains the risk properly.Tell us how many battery-powered devices you're running and we'll work out the spares pool you need.
