Architectual Aluminium Recessed Fire Extinguisher Cabinet

6000 Series - Custom made to order

The Architectural Aluminium Fire Extinguisher Cabinet is a Checkpoint 6000 Series recessed cabinet built from aluminium rather than steel. A 10mm aluminium flange surrounds the opening for a clean fit against the wall. The cabinet sits flush with the surrounding architecture.

Corrosion resistance without repainting

Aluminium resists corrosion without the powder-coat maintenance a steel cabinet needs over time. That makes this version the better fit for coastal sites and covered outdoor areas. Humidity or salt air would otherwise shorten a steel cabinet's finish life. Aluminium is also lighter than steel, which simplifies handling on site during installation.

Sized to the extinguisher

This cabinet houses a single fire extinguisher. Sizes suit 2.5kg, 4.5kg or 9.0kg powder units, or 3.5kg or 5.0kg CO2 units. A hinged door on a full-length piano hinge opens for access. An optional pull handle, breakable safety lock and clear inspection window are available. Confirm your extinguisher's size against the cabinet options before ordering.

Ordering

This is a custom-made-to-order product, quoted per project. Send our design team your extinguisher size and site conditions. Need a colour-matched powder-coat finish instead? Our steel Architectural Recessed Fire Extinguisher Cabinet covers that option.
