Description

The All-In-One Safety Hub Station is a site safety station that holds fire equipment, first aid, spill response and safety information on one double sided steel frame. It suits construction sites, industrial facilities and high risk work areas that need a single known location for emergency equipment. Fork pockets let a pallet jack or forklift relocate the unit as the work front moves.

Specifications

  • 1.5mm steel construction, powder coated over an anti-corrosive undercoat
  • Double sided frame
  • 1925mm high x 950mm wide x 620mm deep, nominal
  • Fork pockets to suit most pallet jacks
  • Supplied assembled
  • Signage panels for up to four safety categories, supplied separately

Configure the Hub to the Risks on Your Site

You specify the sections. Each one is optional, and you fit your own standard equipment into it.
  • Site safety notice board section
  • First aid and PPE section
  • Fire extinguisher section
  • Spill kit section
  • Mount for a Cygnus wireless alarm call point
Running the same equipment across every hub on site keeps one restocking process and one inspection routine. We supply the fire extinguishers, first aid stock and Cygnus call points that go into the frame.

Where a Site Safety Station Belongs

Position decides whether the unit works. Regulation 43 of the WHS Regulations requires an emergency plan, and Safe Work Australia lists a map showing fire protection equipment, exits and assembly points among the items that plan may include. A hub at the site entry or the muster point puts that map, the alarm and the equipment where workers already walk.Safe Work Australia also states that first aid equipment must be accessible at all times, in a location all workers can see and reach quickly. A hub tucked behind a shed fails that test whatever it holds.

What the Hub Does Not Replace

One hub does not satisfy AS 2444 across a whole site. The standard sets a travel distance limit from any point on the floor to the nearest extinguisher, and a single central location leaves parts of a large floor plate outside that limit. Use the hub as the muster point and the inspection anchor, then keep distributed extinguisher coverage against the standard. Our AS 2444 placement rules set out the distance, height and spacing requirements. The frame ships without kits, extinguishers, signage or alarms. Specify those separately, or start from our safety trolleys and stands range.

Specify Your Hub
