Metal Fire Extinguisher Cabinet 4.5kg

Metal Fire Extinguisher Cabinet, 4.5kg

Mount a 4.5kg extinguisher on the wall face with this surface mount fire extinguisher cabinet. It suits a wall with no cavity depth for a recessed unit.

Key details:

• Coated steel construction with red finish
• Approx. dimensions H600mm x W260mm x D200mm
• Houses one 4.5kg fire extinguisher

Heavy duty construction and a full length piano hinge carry the door. The latch locks with the key held behind break glass. A clear inspection window lets a technician sight the gauge without opening the cabinet, shortening each stop on an AS 1851 routine service round.Fire and Rescue NSW's guidance on portable extinguishers calls for a support bracket or a cabinet with the extinguisher facing outward. Surface mounting takes less installation work than a recessed unit, since no wall opening needs cutting. The cabinet sits proud of the wall rather than flush.Compare this against the recessed 4.5kg cabinet where your wall has the cavity depth for a flush install. Check the architectural cabinets instead if the fitout calls for a more refined finish.Add the matching 4.5kg dry chemical ABE powder extinguisher at checkout, or contact us for bulk pricing on multi-unit orders.
