The 2ft emergency light batten with wire guard is a maintained LED luminaire for ceiling or wall mounting. The steel guard covers the diffuser and protects the tubes from tools, trolleys and stored stock. It suits plant rooms, loading docks, car parks, warehouses and back of house corridors where a bare fitting takes knocks.Two 10W LED tubes run from a constant current driver. Rated LED life is 50,000 hours. A lithium battery holds the fitting in emergency mode for 3 hours after mains failure. Design and manufacture follow AS/NZS 2293.3, the part of the emergency lighting standard that covers emergency luminaires and exit signs.Snap latches open the body and both end caps. Your contractor reaches the tubes, the driver and the battery without removing a screw. AS 2293.2 sets the inspection and test regime for emergency lighting, so access time on a single fitting multiplies across every level of a building.The IP20 rating restricts this fitting to dry indoor positions. Do not install it outdoors, in wash down areas or in dusty process environments. Ask us to specify a higher IP rating where the position demands one.The fitting measures approximately 650mm long, 125mm wide and 96mm high.
