2ft LED Emergency Weatherproof Light Batten 

The weatherproof emergency light batten covers car parks, loading docks, external walkways and other exposed positions. A standard IP20 fitting cannot handle conditions like these. Two 10W LED tubes run off a constant current driver in a 2ft body built for outdoor duty.An IP65 rating means the enclosure is dust tight and withstands low pressure water jets from any direction. An IK08 impact rating means the body resists a 5 joule impact under the IEC 62262 test. That is roughly the force of a 1.7kg object dropped from 300mm. Tamper resistant stainless steel clips hold the diffuser in place against interference.

Matching the fitting to the exposure

IP65 protects against water and dust. It says nothing about corrosion resistance, so coastal or chemically aggressive sites still need a material check before you specify.
