Description

A spill kit trolley puts absorbents, protective gear and an alarm at the spill. It stays out of the store room across the site. We build each one around your chemicals and your layout. The kit that arrives matches the spill you're most likely to have.

Does a spill kit trolley meet your WHS duties?

A spill kit trolley covers the response side of your duties and nothing more. The Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice for hazardous chemicals says a spill containment system should hold a spill until you've cleaned it up. The system must describe how you'll contain, clean up and dispose of the spill. Absorbents need to suit the chemicals they meet. We build the kit around your chemical list and safety data sheets, not a generic pack. For large quantities of chemicals, the Code says you may also need bunding. A trolley doesn't replace it. Your WHS regulator confirms how the Code applies in your state or territory.

Where to position it

Put it where you use or store oil, fuel or chemicals. Think construction sites, workshops, warehouses and plant yards. Pair the trolley with the call point. The alarm and the spill gear then sit in one spot your team already knows. If you'd rather pick from set trolley sizes, the medium yellow spill kit station lists two trolley sizes and standard kit capacities. The full safety trolley range includes fire and first aid versions.Send us your chemical list, site layout and potential spill scenarios. We'll quote a spill kit trolley built around them.
