Did you know that the Cygnus Evacuation Sirens are battery powered? This means you can safely evacuate your site in a emergency, even if there is a power outage! The Cygnus Evacuation Alarm System Sirens are a powerful 110 decibel siren with a super bright LED strobe light. The pitch and volume of the siren combined with the flashing strobe light is designed to penetrate all regular site noise, and make sure all personnel are notified of the emergency. This makes it ideal for large sites where running cables is not possible or extremely costly. The Cygnus Wireless Evacuation System has battery powered devices, the expected life of the standard alkaline batteries is 12 - 18 months. The powerful wireless radio mesh network activates the system and, when the control panel is installed, also automatically monitors all devices for connectivity and battery status. About the Cygnus System

All Cygnus products are made in the UK, and we have full Australian approval & certification including EMC, Radio Communications Equipment, ACMA, SAA, Electrical Safety. The radio frequency is 434 MHz so no licence is required. No repeaters are required for the Cygnus system as it uses a digital mesh technology where each device acts as a repeater for the wireless signal (receives and transmits).
